Pacific Palisades, CA

Known for its scenic canyons and breathtaking views of the ocean, few places in the world can match Pacific Palisades’ natural beauty. Its more than 25,000 residents are just steps away from the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Mountains, which offer countless opportunities for outdoor recreation.

Coastal Living Magazine affectionately calls it a “dream town”, a picturesque waterfront community just west of Los Angeles. Nestled among the tall evergreens and swaying palms, the name has become synonymous with casual elegance and prime real estate. As one of the most sought after zip codes in Southern California, houses for rent in Pacific Palisades are always a great investment.

A brief history

Pacific Palisades was the location of a major film studio in the 1910s. Known as “Inceville” after filmmaker Thomas Ince, the community has ties to the film industry like many of its SoCal neighbors.  Methodists purchased land in the area in 1922.

In its early years as a community, real estate agents marketed Pacific Palisades as a place “Where the mountains meet the sea”, knowing that its unique and stunning topography was a strong selling point.

Today, it’s a prestigious SoCal enclave that attracts the crème of the crop.
